The opening ceremony of the first Cardiff and Vale College campus in China, Shanghai was held on December 6th!
CAVC and Yijin Education Group jointly build the new school with long-term experience in running educational institutions. On this day, we set up an independent campus to cultivate outstanding students and to contribute to the international education approach.
Jonathan Day said that Cardiff and Vale College is an essential centre of learning and delivers a major apprenticeship scheme on behalf of the council. The UK Government has also endorsed the growth potential of Cardiff by signing a City Deal with the Cardiff Region which will unlock further growth.
As the Vice President of the Student Union, Wang Wenzheng recalled the major competitions he had participated in under the leadership of his teacher in recent months. He noticed that he had gained a lot from these competitions and was very grateful to the school. After seeing that senior schoolmates have received many offers from well-known universities recently, he expressed his sincere blessing and fighting spirit.He also congratulated students who have already been admitted to universities and praised them for their hard work and efforts.
